Rotary actuator – full torque in the end position
Full torque where it matters most!
If rotary actuators work without external stops, the last angular degrees (approx. 2-3°) before the end position are only approached with the force of a drive piston!
An open secret - can be read in the data sheet or catalogue or can be recognized indirectly.
Although this is in fact a double-loaded module, conventional part-turn actuators only have about half of the nominal torque available - in the all-important end position!
Part-turn actuators of the types SM , SE and SES from Friedemann Wagner GmbH are designed to have full torque in the end position .
The external stop system is part of the housing. Thanks to these stops, the system is not dependent on gear play in the end position - this is demonstrated by the remarkable repeat accuracy of +/- 0.01°.
The stop screws allow the angle of rotation to be adjusted from 0-190° from the outside.
After adjustment, the position of the screws is fixed using a clamping block.
Available from stock – on request in versions with air and signal feedthrough.
