Since the founding of Friedemann Wagner in 1979, we have been successfully manufacturing high-precision swivel, rotary indexing, lifting, linear, and gripping units in Baden-Württemberg.

All solutions are characterized by robust construction and reliability in design and material selection. Repeatability in the hundredths of a millimeter range meets the high demands of today's automation technology. Longevity and precision minimize adjustment effort and later prevent unnecessary and costly production interruptions. High rigidity provides the desired long, reliable load capacity. All of this contributes to high process reliability. We also pay attention to air consumption: at Friedemann Wagner, we use appropriate, but not oversized, cylinders – the sustainable use of resources pays off for everyone in the long run. Special design features with particular benefits set us apart from other solutions and allow for use even in harsh industrial environments or challenging applications. Optionally, air and signal feedthroughs are available for some products. They offer fast, structured supply with short paths and without kinking hoses or cables – especially with rotatable units.

Since its inception, Friedemann Wagner handling devices have been available as a modular system, in various coordinated sizes. Our often-copied centering system enables quick assembly of components using grid dimensions with centering rings. Fixed and quick connection of modules to each other, without external design effort, without drilling or pinning. Adapter plates are available in the extensive accessory range for mounting components of different sizes.

All products are designed, manufactured, and assembled in-house. This aligns with our philosophy at Friedemann Wagner, enables customer-specific modifications, and provides flexibility for our users. Even today, thanks to our in-house manufacturing, we are able to provide spare parts for the "first generation" devices.
