We believe that sustainability in practice means that customers know that they can rely on our products for a long time. At Friedemann Wagner, we are manufacturers of capital goods, not disposable items - we show this in the structure, use and choice of materials of our units.
It is a matter of course for us to maintain long-term spare parts availability in order to guarantee a long-term repair supply. Our pneumatic handling products are therefore all extremely precise, repeatable and robust. Without exception, they are designed, optimized and tested for durability.
It is important to us to preserve products and their use in the field for other cases, as well as to protect the environment and investments. For possible future use, all RSE-3 and RSE-4 rotary indexing units can be easily converted to the direction of rotation or even to pendulum operation using accessory sets.
We are pursuing a reduction in variants with our own hydraulic shock absorber STD-14. It is available in two degrees of hardness, but can still be adjusted using a screw. Its components are made of rust-proof material, the sleeve is treated with tenerife and is therefore designed to be rust-resistant. It is used wherever structurally possible.
With the specially developed centering system from Friedemann Wagner, additional assemblies can be connected to one another using centering rings and existing grid dimensions without additional design or assembly effort.
At Friedemann Wagner, we offer larger versions of our products with optional energy feedthroughs. This means that structures can be supplied with air or signals directly through the handling. This means short distances, which is extremely valuable from an energy point of view. In addition, long cables or hoses that bend or are subject to tension or torsion are avoided right from the start, instead of having to replace them later due to defects.
In accordance with our philosophy, we have a high level of vertical integration. This enables us to overhaul or recondition "older" units in most cases. Please send them to us if necessary - we will be happy to make you an offer after checking them. We will keep your product and ours for further use.
We do not tolerate the flood of recommended lubricants for different applications of handling equipment – we have been using a high-performance grease for years, which is economical, tested and proven.
Our waste from machining has always been separated and sent to the recycling process (Dettelbach). Used oil and residual materials are recycled using FKM Buster. Lubricants are obtained from certified partners such as Bürk and Kauffmann and collected again after the cycle - we particularly rely on these partners who take environmental protection seriously and live it.
Like many other companies, Friedemann Wagner is gradually converting its lighting to modern LED technology.
Wherever possible, we work with plastic containers within our company, which can be cleaned in our washing station if necessary.
As our customer, you will even find at the very end of the chain that we do reuse cardboard and packaging materials from our suppliers!
