Rotary switching unit RSE-3

The RSE-3 is the smallest pneumatic rotary indexing unit from Friedemann Wagner. Its plate diameter is 79 mm (ø79h8). Despite its compact dimensions, it can move a dynamic load of 80 N (Jmax. 60 kg/cm²) centrically.

The piston diameter (rack) of the RSE-3 rotary indexing unit is 20mm.

Factory-installed versions are available in pitches of 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 12, with left and right rotation directions. All Wagner pneumatic rotary indexing tables are equipped with hydraulic dampers and a throttle (for adjusting the table speed) as standard. Control can be achieved with just one valve! Any mounting position is possible – top-down operation is also possible.

If required, sensors in the side plates confirm the position of the rack (feed completed or rack in home position = locked)

Special features of the RSE-3 rotary switching unit

The direction of rotation can be changed by the user (conversion).

The special pendulum operation version can be ordered directly as a variant or converted via a conversion kit. Pendulum operation requires dampers in both side plates and control with two valves.
