Linear unit LE-9

The LE-9 is a pneumatic linear unit based on sealed ball bushings. The LE-9 is suitable for sliding or gantry operation.

The piston diameter is 25mm. The LE-9, as a representative of size 9, is based on a 72mm x 72mm grid dimension.

The LE-9 can be ordered in stroke lengths of 100, 200, 300 and 400 mm. The stroke is adjustable along its entire range.

Options for accommodating hydraulic shock absorbers and/or sensors for end position monitoring are also implemented in this type of linear unit.

Special features of LE-9

The LE-9 linear unit, like the smaller LE-6 version, is delivered from the factory with a pneumatic damper . This design provides a durable, low-wear deceleration system. Of course, the unit can also be retrofitted or ordered with hydraulic dampers.

The special variant with the letter "Z" in its type designation has a second drive cylinder instead of a pneumatic damper, thus doubling its power . Due to these forces, it is recommended that variant Z always be used with hydraulic damping.
