Rotary switching unit RSE-9

The RSE-9 is the largest rotary indexing unit from Friedemann Wagner GmbH. Like the smaller RSE-6, locking is also from the side. This allows for odd pitches —for example, pitch 7. The plate diameter is 270 mm . A dynamic load of 700 N (Jmax. 11,000 kg/cm²) can be moved centrally.

The piston diameter (rack) of the RSE-3 rotary indexing unit is 40mm.

All integer divisions from 4-24 – including division 13, for example – are available ex works in the directions of rotation left | right .

As with the RSE-6 rotary switching unit, the control can be carried out with just one valve!

A sensor on the side locking mechanism confirms the locking of the plate upon request. A control air hole at the end of the rack's advance allows locking to be initiated without external control.

In the delivery state, a hydraulic damper is mounted and a throttle is attached to the rotary indexing table (adjustment of the table speed).

The installation position is horizontal.

The bearing can accommodate a static axial load of 35kN on ø160mm (press-fit work).

Special features of the RSE-9 rotary switching unit

For lower loads (Jmax. 2734 kg/cm²), pneumatic damping can be selected instead of hydraulic damping. This is low-wear (air cushion, adjustable).

Retrofitting to the other type of damping is possible.

If desired, a screw-in column ES-9 (accessory) can be inserted into the fixed, central bore using a fit and threaded ring.
