Gripping unit PGM-140
The PGM-120 parallel gripper is the largest representative of the PGM gripping units from the manufacturer Friedemann Wagner GmbH.
The housing of the PGM-140 gripper measures 140mm wide with the jaws closed – hence the name PGM-140!
The piston diameter is 63mm.
Detection via proximity switches is possible. This is done via sensor holes on the underside of the housing. The field connection is realized via the underside of the jaws. Detection via C-slot sensors is also possible; corresponding grooves are incorporated in the housing, and the sensor is located in the piston.
Wagner grippers can be operated between 2 and 8 bar.
A variant with gripping force safety (springs on the outside) is optionally available
Special features of PGM-140
PGM-140 has 15mm stroke per jaw.
The PGM-140 always comes with six ZR-6 centering rings. Two are used for mounting the parallel gripper, and two each are used for mounting the customer's gripper fingers.
Due to its size, PGM-140 can alternatively be joined on the underside with two centering rings ZR-9.
In addition to the standard "N" version, the PGM-140 gripping unit is also available in the "Ö" and "S" versions. In these versions, the central guide piece is adapted in its pitch to allow for higher opening and closing forces.
