Power strips

Do you want to wire the sensor - or more correctly the plug on the sensor of your actuator - as simply as possible? Do you have various actuators and want to collect them using a sensor-actuator box and put them on one cable? Ideally, these plug strips should be equipped with a status display via LED for each sensor?

As a manufacturer of pneumatic handling units, we also manufacture our own connector strips (type STL-8) as a technical addition (accessory).

Our power strips - or in modern German "sensor-actuator boxes" are

  • passive
  • in a cast housing
  • housing material aluminum
  • protection class IP 65 (IEC 60529)
  • Status display: Power and signal LED

Depending on the design (different in number and type), the slots of the power strips are placed on the central plug of the main line.

The connection type in the sensor-actuator box is a classic plug-in screw connection. The number of poles and the number of inputs/outputs vary between the plug strips. A "speaking key" was assigned for selection.

The sensor-actuator box above can therefore accommodate two sensors each with 3 poles. The coding of the second input (abbreviation E 18) is interesting in connection with the output ( A 8): It is possible to connect this actuator box via cable with further To connect power strips to each other.

Your advantage: a flexible solution for structuring and clarity. Many individual cables connect to a single connecting cable via connector strips.

Like the sensor, STL-8 connector strips are classic items from the "Accessories" brochure. This compact interface between machine and control system can, of course, also be purchased separately from our products, for example, for the control cabinet. ( Link to brochure) ).
