Linear unit LEN-6

The LEN-6 pneumatic linear unit is part of the pick-and-place modular system from Friedemann Wagner GmbH. This system is represented by the LEN-6, which provides the horizontal stroke, and the VEN-6, which, when docked to the LEN-6, provides the system's vertical stroke. Both units can also be used independently.

The piston diameter of the LEN is 25mm.

The LEN-6 linear unit is available in 4 stroke lengths of 100|200|300 and 400 millimeters.

The basic version (Variant B) does not include any power feedthrough. Two additional versions are available: the "6-0" version includes six air feedthroughs; the "6-6" version also features six signal feedthroughs to the front panel.

Special features of LEN-6

The stroke length can be adjusted by 19 millimeters on one side and by 30 millimeters on the other.

The LEN-6 is delivered ready for immediate use from the factory with a sheet metal cover, hydraulic end-position damping, and proximity switches. For integrated versions, the corresponding cables and connectors are also included (see operating instructions).

A tripod is available for the Pick-& Place system, which can be screwed onto the underside of the LEN-6 (accessory).

Depending on the variant purchased, necessary centering rings are also included in the scope of delivery.

The air and signal integration is designed so that the power supply is located at the rear of the system and routed through the system to the front. Thanks to the six-way integration, the front can supply the vertical unit, as well as, for example, a gripper and the intermediate position, or the vertical unit itself.
