Gripping unit PGM-29
The PGM-29 mini gripper is the smallest member of the PGM gripper series from Friedemann Wagner GmbH. It is used for handling small workpieces.
When the jaws are closed, the housing of the parallel gripper measures just 29mm wide – hence the name PGM-29!
The piston diameter is 10mm.
Despite this miniature design of a gripper, detection via proximity switch is possible!
Due to the design, the sensor detects the contact through holes on the side of the housing. The field contact is established via "flags" on the jaws.
Wagner grippers can be operated between 2 and 8 bar.
Special features of PGM-29
PGM-29 has 2mm stroke per jaw.
The PGM-29 always comes with six ZR-3 centering rings. Two are used for mounting the parallel gripper, and two each are used for mounting the customer's gripper fingers.
PGM-29 can be attached directly to the head plate of the LSM-3 mini slide or to the LSM-4 with centering rings.
Due to the size ratio, a query via C-slot sensors is unfortunately not possible.
