Gripper Unit PGM-82
The housing of the PGM-82 gripper unit from Friedemann Wagner GmbH measures 82mm in width when the jaws are closed – hence the name PGM-82!
The piston diameter is 32mm.
Proximity switch sensing is possible. This is done via sensor bores on the underside of the housing. Field detection is achieved via the underside of the jaws. Sensing via C-slot sensors is also possible; corresponding slots are incorporated into the housing, and the encoder is located in the piston.
Wagner grippers can be operated between 2 and 8 bar.
A variant with gripping force safety (springs on the outside) is optionally available.
Special Features of PGM-82
PGM-82 has 10mm stroke per jaw.
The PGM-82 always includes 6 ZR-4 centering rings. Two are for mounting the parallel gripper, and two pairs are for mounting the customer's gripper fingers.
PGM-82 can be mounted frontally to the head plate of the cross roller slide LSK-4. Due to the 32x32mm grid dimension, direct flanging is possible, e.g., to the swivel surface of the SE-4; SES.4 swivel unit and the surface of the HEK-4 lifting unit.
