PGM-96 Gripper Unit
The housing of the PGM-96 gripper unit from the manufacturer Friedemann Wagner GmbH measures 96mm in width when the jaws are closed – hence the name PGM-96!
The piston diameter is 40mm.
Querying via proximity switch is possible. This is done via sensor bores on the underside of the housing. Field detection is realized via the underside of the jaws. Querying via C-slot sensors is also possible; corresponding slots are integrated into the housing, and the encoder is located in the piston.
Wagner grippers can be operated between 2 and 8 bar.
A variant with gripping force retention (springs on the outside) is optionally available
Special features of PGM-96
