Gripper Unit PGM-38

The housing of the second smallest gripper unit PGM-38 from the manufacturer Friedemann Wagner GmbH measures only 38mm in width with closed jaws – hence the name PGM-38! This gripper is also specially designed for handling small workpieces.

The piston diameter is 14mm.

Proximity switch sensing is possible. This is done via sensor bores on the underside of the housing. The field closure is realized via the underside of the jaws.

Grippers from Wagner can be operated between 2 and 8 bar.

A version with gripping force retention (springs on the outside) is optionally available.

Special Features of PGM-38

PGM-38 has a stroke of 3mm per jaw.

The scope of delivery for PGM-38 always includes 6 stepped centering rings ZR-4-A5. Two pieces are for mounting the parallel gripper, and 2x2 for mounting the customer's gripper fingers.

PGM-38 can be directly attached to the head plate of the mini slide LSM-3 or to LSM-4 with centering rings.

Due to the size, sensing via C-slot sensors is unfortunately not possible.
