Pneumatic Lifting Units
Why a lifting module from Friedemann Wagner?
Lifting units are intended for “pick and place” applications with vertical stroke , but also can be used horizontally. Cross roller bearings or ball bearings are used in the units. The lifting units offer tremendous stiffness and cover high tilting moments and offer strokes from 10 to 100 mm.
HubeinheitOur external hardened stop screws with toroidal areas give you the advance of precise end-positioning, with a repeat accuracy of ± 0.01 mm. As the sensor is placed in the hollow stop-screw you do monitor the end-position exactly and theres is no loss of the end position when proximity switches are to be exchanged . Hydraulic shock absorbers (optional) reduce wear- even small strokes can be damped (tandem stop system, see accessories). With our centering system (centering-rings are included) we provide precise and clearance free connections of our units. Adapter plates, accessories and our grid system help you to combine our modules easy and modular.
Can Lifting Units only be used for vertical purpose?
No! Lifting Units are mainly designed for vertical movements – they deliver higher lifting force than Linear Units. But horizontal use is no problem at all, if the loads are in the specified range – e.g. see example HEK-4.
Why to use a TAS module?
If you later on intend to fit shock absorbers to Lifting Units of type HE with small strokes (10 / 25 mm) we especially do offer Tandem Arrangement Systems (TAS) . As shown in the brochure they are needed to mount the dampers and improve the repeat accuracy. Please consider interfering edges. In case of ordering these small strokeunits in variant „H“, shock absorbers and TAS are already assembled when shipment is done.
Please be aware of : A kind of Tandem Arrangement System technically is integrated in all other Lifting Units.
Is there a possibility to adjust the stroke-lenght?
Fore sure! Lifting Units are delivered within adjustment “maximum stroke”. Adjustment is possible and only differs in variants.
